Carol Cunningham
has been sculpting her subjects for over twenty-seven years. Her
major subject was the horse until she moved to Colorado
seventeen years ago from Texas. Rendering spirit and character in clay and
bronze, Carol has now expanded her subject matter to wildlife and
various subjects incorporating children. Carol is well known for
her capturing the inner action of children and animals.
Carol’s public commission works include:
"SAMSON"
the 125% life-size Bull Elk in Estes Park, Co. "History of Estes
Park" relief's for their75thanniversary. "JOSEF
PONISTOWSKI " a permanent trophy in Poland
"TRANQUILLITY"
a permanent collection of the Lean’n Tree Museum in Boulder, Co.
"CLEAR" was commissioned as a memorial to Ally Stevens
at Garrison Ford School , Owing Mills, Md. "DREAM DANCER" is a permanent trophy for the
American Horse Show Association,
"CHECKUP" was installed at Colorado State University
School of Veterinary
Medicine
"FIRST
DAY" was installed at WinStar Farms in
Versailles, Ky.,and
is also placed at the Estes
Park, Co. Fairgrounds.

LOVE" public
art in Fountain Hill,Az.
"Thats My
Baby" is installed in Parker, Co
Currently Carol offers pieces, ranging in size
from miniature to life-size and monumental.
Carol’s education and training includes Lincoln University,
Kansas City Art Institute, Southwest Craft Center and McNay Art
Institute. Carol also has bred and trained horses for many
years, and is a past Director of the Missouri Veterinary Museum.
